Hi,
I am looking for some online info on the anatomy of a snowflake...and other info regarding snow...We just had our first big snowfall and I am excited to do some research with my d/s on SNOWFLAKES! **** 
Any thoughts?

Don't have any website, but I can tell you what I saw when I was sitting in my car during a big snow storm in Colorado on winter. This was a very wet snow with big snowflakes I would run the wipers so I could watch the snowflakes fall on the windshield and see the details. One really cool thing I noted was that some snowflakes were flat with 6 points, but there were also snowflakes that were 3-D--kind of like three snowflakes joined in a line down the centers--so there were 6 points in every direction.

They are beautiful aren't they and declare the awesome creativity of the One who designed them! The web site: http://www.its.caltech.edu/~atomic/snowcrystals/class/class.htm listed above is really amazing...we also borrowed the book from the man who did that research on that site. Yes! There are all kinds of snowflakes...I never knew there were so many different classifications! Amazing!
