I thought I'd open up this thread because I am so lost with this new machine. Must say I was not impressed that they didn't give me a bag with it. They tried stinging me for one but I have many bags and I can just buy some Styrofoam and make one myself. Also they didn't give me a mouse with it and that didn't impress me either. I thought it was quite scummy, in fact. Anyway is there some way you can make the screen full? There doesn't seem to be any tab for it and I have been dragging it to make it larger. Then there is the problem that the menu bar down the bottom gets in the way when I do that. I am sure there is some way to fix it. I will see my son next week and he knows some things, till then I just need to get any advice I can.

Why would they give you a mouse w/ a laptop?

What do you mean "make the screen full"?

What type of computer are you migrating from?

-Dan.

Thanks Dan for the reply. I am migrating from an Ausus A3HF-5B020H (that is the stockcode), then the model is an A3HF420SM56HG to notebook to a mac powerbook pro 15 inch latest model whatsit. The mouse is handy for me because sometimes my fingers slip and also when I write it jumps, haven't tried it on this yet so can't say for sure but that was my experience weith my other notebook. Anyway been on it all day ! I thought it may be a time I could use the bluetooth but can't seem to find it on the Ausus. Do you know where I can find it?

I pulled the screen out by the bottom right hand side once and now it is the full screen. You'd think they give you a bag at least. Nope, no bag! My bro told me he'd buy me one but I told him not to because it's hyway robbery! 200 bucks extra for a bag is ridiculous! I have plenty of bags and I can put styrofoam in them

They gave me a mouse and a bag when I bought my Ausus.

I think you just lucked out with that particular computer. I'm on my third laptop and I've never been given a bag or a mouse. Or any other accessory.

They don't give bags or mice with every laptop anymore on the consumer side.

If you order is for a business they may throw that in.

don't really want them to throw anything at me, just to provide me with a service. Geez, only fair to get a bag with a product when you pay nearly 4 gorillas!

Sorry you're not happy with your mac book :(. I'm an apple fan and have a macbook pro. I never got anything with it either except the charger and remote control. I have purchased laptops in the past but never really got a bag or any other accessories. Sometimes some stores offer promotions like that - but regular purchases, I don't think bags are included.

I am happy with it, just thought they could've thrown in a mouse and a case, I mean really! How much do they cost in comparison? It's the big thing to do. Anyway I got a Crumpler case and it's cool because then I can just put my laptop in my backpack and no one knows I have it. When I open it it covers the insignia and if I am in the street or somewhere getting eyed off it doesn't seem like it's such an expensive thing. Crumpler make great bags and they are true blue Aussie products made in one of the suburbs in Melb. I like buying Aussie. Aussies have great things and it is good to support our economy seeing we always get ignored in the world because there are so few of us.
