Grilling. I've been known to throw steaks on the grill when it's snowing, raining, hailing, or just plain frigid.

Since I'm a guy, the grill is mine.

Steaming veggies on the stove, toasting bread, cooking eggs in a cast iron pan, and microwaving. With a bit of baking for church-related activites like bake sales tossed in for variety. Occasionally I will laso cook a soup in the crockpot.

Roasting. I buy a 3 or 4 pound pork or beef roast, add some potatoes and onions, let it cook for 2 hours and I'm good for at least 2 days or 3. Why cook twice when you can cook once and be done with it?

Pretty much everything gets fried in a pan with EVOO at my house.

I said all of the above. I love to cook and bake. I love to make sweet treats, but I also love to try out new dinners so it isn't the same old stuff. What I really want to learn how to cook/bake that I am not too good at is fish. I can only make one kind and it gets old after a while. Although if I can count the fish sticks, I can cook two kinds.

all of the above - but I do do more baking and using my oven when it's cold out. I use the crockpot ALL the time! I steam veggies a lot and have even cooked over an open fire a few times. Blessings, Garsy

I voted a combo. My favourite is actually stirfrying, I absolutely love my wok. There's nothing I love more than a stirfry with veggie fried rice. Though my husband loves a variety of things so I do have to mix it up. I just love trying new recipes. I wish I could find more slowcooker recipes, but we haven't really liked very many we've come across yet.

I do a combo, but we haven't had an oven for about two months so I don't do much baking these days, unless I borrow the neighbor's oven.

I voted for grilling. You can find me in front of the grill no matter the temp. I do use those other techniques, as well, just not as often. Baking probably is second to grilling.

Have to say BAKING. Some preprocessed foods for the kids like nuggets, but I like to bake breads and cakes. Never could get a pie crust right, tho, even with the cheats. j

I voted other. I do some baking, casseroles, bread, etc. But I've developed a huge repertoire of stovetop meals. Mostly one-dish. Curry, stir-fry, beans and rice, etc. I rarely fry anything except samoosas once in a while. Most days it's: saute onions and garlic, throw other ingredients in, dump in the spices, cover and simmer. I did have to use the crockpot and microwave the week we were moving, but I really didn't like it. Microwaving is supposed to be fast and convenient but it took me twice as long to make our favorite curry in the microwave than it usually does on the stove. The potatoes just wouldn't cook.

I picked a combo of all, although I really don't like frying. Unless it's a stir fry. And I really do love the crock pot. I love coming home from work and having dinner all ready.

Combo for me, except for frying or microwave (destroys nutrients). Mostly stovetop or roasting/baking. Hubby does the grilling. Love my crock pot, especially in the winter for soups and stews. It's the only way I cook a roast.

Why bother when Pillsbury has it down to a science? That is NOT worthy of a good homemade pie! I do mostly stove top(never frying though)and occasionally crock pot or oven cooking. But that's when I cook. I used to cook 6 days a week, but since the girls left home and I'm in school long hours, I cook twice a week at the most. We do leftovers a lot(thank goodness for a hubby who loves leftovers), and eat out even more. Works well for us at this point in time. I love baking from scratch, but only do that for holidays and special occasions.
