Will there be any work for us if we make it to heaven? Is there any scriptures to back it up either yes or no? Well, this may not be the thread for this discussion (since it is presumably a future event rather than a current event ) but Scripture certainly seems to indicate there will be activity in eternity, though it probably won't be 'work' as we think of it. There is an ever-so-brief description in Revelations: Revelation 22:1-4 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse ; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. So it seems serving God will be our primary purpose - which of course is an extension of our lives here. The other thing to note is that in eternity we won't be in 'Heaven' per se but we will live on a new earth and universe free from the curse of sin.
