Luke 4:18-19

Praise you for this anointing of Jesus Christ.

This morning I read this from Girlfriends In God:
Praise is not a feeling but a choice, a step of obedience taken without the assurance of a changed circumstance or the elimination of a trial. Praise focuses on God, not the circumstance, and fixes its gaze upon God’s truth and God’s character instead of the trial at hand or just ahead. That is why we can celebrate the battle before it begins. The outcome is neither our responsibility nor our goal. Praise begins and ends with faith in the very nature, personality and integrity of God…and that never changes.
Father God,
I PRAISE YOU for Your presence and power at work in my life.
No matter what happens, I can Praise You because You are all-powerful, You are all and everything!
I Praise You because You love me even when I am unlovable.
I Praise You because You have already worked out the answer before I know to ask the question.
I Praise You because You are all-deserving.
I Praise You because You lift me up from the valley of despair.
I Praise You because You keep Your promises to those who love You.
I Praise You because I can count on You for protection.
I Praise You because You have never failed me even when I fail You over and over!

The LORD is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Praise the Lord for sending me a wonderful handyman today to help me with all of the little things that have been mounting up!
Our Father is Lord of the great and the small things in our life.
Praise the Lord for constantly bringing me back to Him so that He can provide good help to me in rough times.
Praise the Lord for being with me and lifting me up as I grieve over the loss of my little mother this month.
Thank You, Father!

Thank You Father for all that You are doing for marstacy. Thank You that she sees You at work all around her. Comfort her Lord as she grieves the loss of her mom, yet takes comfort in knowing that they will see each other again when You will wipe away all tears. Father,
I see You more clearly and hold our relationship more dearly as I age.
My heart is more tender and willing to follow Your will. Let it always be so . . . all the way to the end, Father.
The pain I feel at the loss of my mother is nothing to what you suffered when Your Only Son died for my (our) sins.
I praise you, Lord, for the great gift You have given us . . . Jesus.
I praise my Holy and Precious Savior's name . . . . Jesus.
I am blessed because through His scarlet blood, I am saved by Jesus.
The sweetest name I know . . . J E S U S.
