First I heard about this too. Did he just walk up, or disrupt them....otherwise how could it be any worse than when that camera guy was in the shots on stage, was it Friday night favorites? I forget, one of the last two dvds.

It was on Live In Music City.

It was on Friday Night Favorites, because at about the third song he came in and stayed there the whole time.

I know I saw the camera guy in LIMC too....

Well, they already knew about the camera guy and were planning at least some shots to compensate (even if they had to use some other shots, too). The guy at NQC was unplanned, and, for all we know, could have gone between the camera and the person having the solo.

There's something else: Having that as a big distraction without the possibility of a re-take could really distract the singers, and if someone is preoccupied it typically shows up on video.

I remember looking up at the screen when it happened to see if he got in the way and the only real time he showed up was behind Scott Howard as he was being led off by a security guard.

Wouldn't bother me in the least, on the dvd that is. It's live, and things happen.....

Call me bad, but I would actually like to see that guy when he came on stage. Definitely livened things up, didn't it?

One of my favorite moments on a concert DVD was on the L5 one with two concerts from Shadow Mountain Church. I believe it was the concert on the left. Like Roger always did, he played and he leads it into singing with the congregation (always my favorite part!), when he came to Amazing Grace, he plays a couple verses and them stops playing and leads everyone in singing the last verse. If you watch him, his ears pick up on one lady that is singing over the whole church and way out there!!!! The look on Roger's face is priceless! Anyone else ever pick up on that???

Well, we are off to Lancaster, PA Sat noon to see L5 and the BBs. Please pray for travel mercies especially on the way back. They are calling for snow again this year, but at least not as much as we got last year.

Did you watch it yet Tina??

Does anyone know when L5 might be releasing their "Gods Been Good" Video I Heard that they were using the NQC footage over their three nights to make a video. Like they did in 2004, ironic that they were named favorite quartet that year as well.

I've been wondering if they had to scrap the footage due to the interruption on their final set.

????What exactly happened????

Was that the same guy that went around the booths singing in a donkey voice? When I was at NQC I heard some stories about him. He actually had a wife of a singer backed into a corner at one point. Also heard that he "visited" the Whisnants booth too. I thought that might be the same guy that jumped on stage with L5, but I never saw him so I don't know. Does anyone know if our "dancing friend" sings too?

I agree. I'm glad I didn't run into him at NQC. I heard that when he sings to people he likes to get in their faces. A lady that saw him said he just likes the attention from people. I guess the singing part is pretty harmless - but I still wouldn't want to have him sing to me!

I thought of another!

Where were you when you saw L5 for the first time?

Okay...Wow...I've missed a lot. I like the questions that were asked, so I'm going to go back and answer them. I was in Allen, TX at First Baptist Church of Allen.

Another question!

If you could ask any one of the guys any one question, who would you ask, and what would the question be?

I already asked my question at NQC, I asked Frank what was the highest note he hits on any given night. He said high Eb and High C, so I have already asked the one I wanted But another question I would like ask would go to Scott Fowler, I would ask him how it felt singing next to legends like George and Glen, And Roger. That is an honor that very few singers in today's industry have had.

My question would be for Scott Fowler, and it would be: since the beginning of L5, what has been the craziest thing that has happened on the road?

I recieved the L5 email newsletter yesterday...they are offering an MP3 player with their entire music library already pre-loaded on it for $169!!!

Considering I've done almost the same thing on my iPod with another group's music...I think that is a deal.

Do you ever feel sometimes that groups or group members have you *tagged* (however wrongly) as something not desireable to them? Like somehow they gathered this from when you were at a concert, or from emails; am I explaining this right? Like when they stop replying to emails (yeah yeah, I know....they get HUNDREDS a day, but anyway). Like all you want to be is their friend, to befriend them, and yet feel like they are going out of their way to avoid you? Or am I being overly sensitive here? I try so hard, I try so hard to be friendly, to show my support, and yet I feel I get BURNED. I am hurt, and I can't help but say it. I don't care who knows it! I feel somebody did me wrong and I am not happy at all about it.

Hey Tina, I don't know to whom you are referring to - but I do know this (if this person is apart of a group). I don't think you've been tagged! When you go to a concert and are friendly and supportive the group really appreciates it . . . even if they may not have the time then to tell you that. I went to a concert one night and at intermission I was at the groups table and I overheard the pastor tell the group owner "ya'll better cut the second set short and head out soon cause there's a bad storm comin' in and we want to get home" . . . (or something like that). Things like that just seem like they would bring an artist spirit down, and they may not try to avoid any of their fans, but it might appear that way. Other times I've been told by artist's that "it's really nice to see a familiar face in the audience". So don't be discouraged Tina! - Your e-mails and friendliness really mean's something to artist's! And remember, this time of year, with all the holidays, they're probably spending time with family. They'll get back to you, but it might be after Christmas. It doesn't mean they're trying to ignore you, it just means they're busy. If you want to see something interesting try this: take a group, for example L5. Look at their tour schedule for a month, and figure out how many days they would be gone in that month for concert dates (include driving days to and from their home base). How many days are they home? Then, L5 puts out a project yearly, so when they're home and have to record they have to take days out of their "home time" to do that. Plus, if they have children, they would probably go to school activities and do family stuff. Remember, I'm just using L5 for a example, and I don't want this to sound like it's a pain in the neck for L5 to be on the road - but you have to admit they probably have some CRAZY schedules!!!! So don't feel like you've been burned Tina - that someone to whom you're not happy with is probably just taking a break from all of us crazy people.

Thanks, Lynn. I do love this group still (it was a member) Yes, though I chose to post it in the L5 thread does not necessarily mean it is L5, but it could be; or it could be I just like this thread and had to choose somewhere to post it. I'll let you decide.

Hey, the L5 thread is a great place to post - you can always count on fellow L5 fans when you need someone to talk to.
