We stayed out of WW2 until the Japanese attacked us! The war was already going on for two years before we became involved with our troops!
Iran hasn't attacked us yet and if we attacked everyone who talked smack about us we would be at war with the rest of the world - including the French!

Exageration and hyperbole - the most common fallacy! Some "good Christian" people were saying the Anti-Christ was to come from the British Isles so maybe we should nuke Great Britain too and kill two prophetic birds with a couple hundred nukes!
