Oh! I know a few guys that are in so much trouble! (Kerr and Jimbo to name a few)

Perhaps there is a "Is giggling as I grocery shop a sin" thread over in Men's Only, or better She said/He said.

depends, if we put it in He said, then ladies will be tempted to answer for the men and that would be sin. If we put it in She said we ladies would be tempted to gossip. sin again. Might as well go shopping (and maybe snoop in Men's Only to see if they have a giggling thread up already...don't tell them, I'll be very very quiet).

Safer to go shopping than to venture into the Mens Only Threads. That'd be a major SIN.

I went in there once when someone started a thread they said had started in Men Only and I wanted to get a better understanding of where they were coming from (it wasn't a sexual thread or anything so I thought it would be fairly "safe").

Some of the stuff in that thread still makes my blood boil and my stomach turn.

I heard if you tell the retailer "CW", you actually get a discount. Course.......that would be if you were shopping...... which, I don't do...... well, at least on Mondays.

If you order it online, it doesn't count grocery shopping, right?

what? I don't get it.... never mind, maybe I don't wanna get it.

Is there a device on the store doors that make shoppers forget one item on their list? You go home with everything but one item, then have to go back to the store and of course, buy more than that one item. I smell a conspiracy.

I believe so. I've gone to the store only intending to buy one item and upon returning home discovered that I forgot that one item.

I even do that with a list...

Who else would like to agree with me that those alarm things must be sinful. I've never stolen anything in my life, but I'm paranoid about setting those things off. It happened again this week... They didn't "de-alarm" a DVD a bought and paid for...

My hubby and I were standing in line at the grocery store (grocery shopping is less sinful if spouses do it together) when an alarm went off in the store. Everyone looked around like, "What's the alarm for?" Nobody moved, nobody evacuated, nobody gave any explanation for the alarm. So, I'm thinking, "What good is an alarm when nobody knows what it's alarming us about?"

I stood around waiting for someone to come 'check me out' and even other employees were walking by asking each other, "I wonder where the front door person is?". I didn't want to leave because I didn't want it to look like I was really stealing, but for heaven sake, if you're going to have an alarm, deal with it!

yup, had that happen is a small theater once. The pub nextdoor was using a smoke machine that set off the alarms. The actors were nearly done with the show and were going to finish it but I told another actor off stage, "if we don't leave the audience won't leave". So we all exited the building, found out it was a false alarm, went back in and finished the last ten minutes of the show.

ironically, the cast went to another bar to unwind after the show and it was more full of cigarette smoke than the smoke machined establishment. I did not stay long.

I was in Staples the other day and couldn't find a soul to help me. I finally found the calculator that dd needed for school and went to check out. I had to walk past the front door and I set off the alarm. Dang, I never knew they had that many employees in the store!! Suddenly the were all over me!

Snort! I'm not sure but since it was a female employee who finally showed up, I'd say that was sinful...
