I guess so. Elvis is orange with a white underbelly and callie is all black - so none of my clothing is safe! -reba.

I wonder why Elvis' furr is softer than Callie's. Is it just because she's getting older? She's 5. I can't imagine what they'll be like when they're older. I'm really hoping once Elvis hits the one year mark in the next few months he'll chill out. Kerrlaw - how do you manage that many cats? I just have two and sometimes I feel like I'm living in a zoo! -reba.

My best friend's tuxedo kitties, Smith and Wesson, have such different fur. Smith is silky. Wesson is floofy and soft. And they're brothers. Go figure!

Our young male, Felix, has soft short hair; his younger sister has medium hair but it is so amazingly soft. Wow. It is delicately soft, is how I would describe it. The stray female that has adopted our outdoor living room is still around. She has figured out how to climb up on the tarp above our desk and chairs. She's proud of herself about that. I just thought I'd throw this in here: A train station is where a train stops. A bus station is where a bus stops. My desk is a work station.

So is that where work stops? :) I'm going to check with a few other groomers to see about a lion cut for a cheaper price. Boo doesn't think he could handle trying to wrestle the boy into submission. Elvis has gotten better about not trying to climb into every cabinet I open but he's still a little devil about jumping on th table. Callies been the kind to only need to be told no once with a squirt but Elvis he's the opposite! I guess boy cats are just as crazy as boy children! :P

My Lazarus got a lion cut for the summer (he is our only long haired kitty, unless you count the baby). Both of our vets, who own about a dozen cats between them, recommended it. He really seems happy with it and is much more loving than before. A post I made in another thread reminded me that the late, great, Bubba (my avatar) could jump from the floor to the top of a six foot tall entertainment center.

In her younger days my now 18 year old girl would jump from the floor to the top of the refrigerator and sit there quietly. Then scare the beans outta me by putting her paw on my head. Prolly wouldn't have scared me so much but I do live alone...

That's too funny! Callie used to escape Elvis by jumping on top of the entertainment center by now he jumps up there too. Callie sometimes gets whiteheads any idea why? I've switched to ceramic bowls FYI in case it was the plastic. Poor Callie has gotten fat greasy and white heads since I got Elvis! At least her fur has returned to normal and she's still playing but still. I should post some pictures of them up. The ones I posted a few pages back are really old. Anyone have any recent pics of your furrbabies?

And Gracie tries to punish Patches on occasion, and it works... for the moment. It's pretty funny to watch the two of them play-fighting... I've never had two cats before, but now, these two are pretty attached to each other and get into all kinds of mischief together.

We've been dealing with some health issues with my daddy and it's required me to spend a ton of time down at the hospital, but when I get home my little Niko just wants to love on me. I think he knows I'm stressed out and that him sitting my lap and purring is good therapy! We love our little boy! All the recent kitty pictures are adorable!!!!

Super awesome pictures adrenaline junkie! I need to get some of elvis - he's getting soooo big! Boo and I might take him walking today. Does anyone else walk their cats? Callie won't do it but elvis seems to really enjoy it even though half of our walks involve him just rolling around in the grass and not really walking. -reba.

The vet clinic I take Tut to is called All Cats, but the vet recently decided to start accepting dogs too. I saw her yesterday when I went to buy Tut some food, and she said she decided to do that so the clients who bring their cats to her don't have to take their dogs to another vet. She added, "But I want only quiet, well-behaved dogs!" I started laughing and said, "But my cat isn't quiet and well-behaved!" She replied, "Oh, I don't mind that - I love Siamese!" Thank goodness I finally have a vet and staff who aren't intimidated by Tut's hissing, growling and caterwauling.
