Does he, a self-professing Christian (sometimes self-professing Muslim) not know the basics of context of the book he claims to hold as God's Word?

Lost without a teleprompter...

This is why it is a shame more people didn't see the Rick Warren/Saddleback meeting. Obama did horrifically without a teleprompter.

Not suprising from someone who though they claim to have been a Christian for 20 years and gone to Church was steeped in the doctrine of 'Black Liberation" theology which just does not hold the Scripture core to its beliefs.

Thanks
RC

Be fair.....

Remember Obama said he had no clue that such things were preached from the pulpit. It's above his pay scale to know such things.

...for those who want to read the entire speech...which btw, is one of the more thoughtful speechs on religion in America...here is the link:

He is not mocking the Bible....rather, making the point that we live in a pluralistic society.

And honestly that is one of the most frightening things aobut him; he is either a liar or the stupidest man in Chicago.

Thanks

So he doesn't really believe what he said the Bible says? Because his rant is akin to what one would expect Bill Maher to say. Someone who hates and is ignorant to Scripture. It's akin to what the West Wing did with the their rants on Christianity.

Tony Rezko, Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Daley, Stroger, Blago, etc etc.......

Nah, it sounds like he is the most politically connected machine Democrat in Chicago.

Does McCain, a self-professing Christian not know the basics of context of the book he claims to hold as God's Word? We don't see him talk about his faith, so why talk about one person and question their faith on a daily basis if you can't and won't even do it for the other?...

Isn't what more of these threads about all one particular person the same? I can put politics aside and point out what's going on, there's all these negative threads filled with insinuations and fallacies about one particular candidate, and I wonder why none for the others?... I'm not an Obama watcher, matter of fact this isn't the only Christian forum I'm a part of and on the other, some have negative threads filled with rumors and such about McCain/Palin and the same things I say here, I say there for McCain/Palin.

Obama, had the most scary, arrogant look on his face while making these statements.

As someone who is in the suburbs of Chicago (most of my life lived in Chicago) I can tell ya - ITS POLITICALLY WORSE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!

The worse might be either Baby Todd Stroger or the governor.. no wait, maybe Mayor Daley,, hmm no i think it might be Baby Todd. oooo its such a horrible list to choose from!

They are all liars and they are all looking out for #1.

now as for Obama, though i basically like him, I have to be honest and say the time that I didn't like him and felt he was talking like a typical politician (fillubstering) was when he did not want to take a stand on when life begins. his answer did not ring true, but was what someone would say when they want to give a noncomittal answer...

Now I am goiing to give you a typical political answer to a question (good thing the bible says let your yay be yay and your nay be nay)

like this - "uh well uh blah blah i could say when life begins but then i might not know and then we may say it could be life begins at a certain time but thats beyond my pay scale and i uh can or cannot really say when life begins or not." thats a baloney sausage answer if i ever saw one!

Obama's actions speak very loudly he's not a follower of Christ...Strange... You have no issue with the truth about McCain but when it comes to Obama you ignore it...

Is there a video of McCain mocking the Bible?

Please create a thread for it for us to view and discuss.

Most probably, he will be our next president and it will be our Christian duty to pray for him, and even more so, our country.

I am already praying for our country, and that we would even consider electing this man. I will pray for him, if he is elected president. I amm not giving up in defeat yet. That is what the liberal media is wanting you to do.

I'll actually have a much easier time of that no matter who wins since both men are hardly on the "straight and narrow" no matter what they may say.

. So you did not think he had a scary look? I do have a right to my subjective opinion, and he looked evil; but, nevertheless, what he had to say was evil, and if you think he had a face that glowed with the glory of the Lord while he spoke against the word of God than so be it. Subjective right?
