Thank you---everyone---for your kind and heartfelt prayers.
My doctor ordered that Visiting Nurses Association come to my apartment three times a week. He also ordered in-home supportive health services for me.
Yesterday, VNA sent a physical therapist to my home.
Amazing----the physical therapist goes to the same church as I do! And my case manager is also a Christian! She prayed for me before she left the other day!
Many Christian sisters will be visiting me in the hospital when I go in for surgery Friday. That is comforting.
God is so incredible!

God got me through breast cancer surgery!! Thank you all so much for your prayers!
I was hospitalized for 6 days, and the pain is still bad. I have 3 drains.
Next Tuesday, I have an appointment with my surgeon.
I'll get the pathololgy report results, tumor marker number, tumor margin results, and sentinel biopsy results.
Each day, 6 - 7 friends from church visited me each day. Their prayers and support were much appreciated and uplifting.
Friends visit me at home, and bring over dinner.
Thank You, Lord Jesus---for getting me through surgery, and helping me in my time of pain and disability.

Thank You for bringing Pamela this far, and I pray that You will continue to lift her up and carry her through everything in the days and weeks to come. Please help her recuperate from her surgery and I pray that every cancer cell in her body is being killed or removed. Hold her in Your tender and loving care.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers, which have been and are being answered!
Yesterday I saw my surgeon.
My three Jackson-Pratt drains were removed!
My Pathology report shows that my tumor margins are clear!
One out of 13 lymph nodes was cancerous.
There is perineural invasion.
Overall, this is better news than I expected.
My hospital "Tumor Board" recommended course of action:
I start Radiation soon;
I will be on Herceptin for 12 months;
I'll take Arimidex for 5 years.
How I praise God and our Lord Jesus Christ for such tender, loving care and protection!

Father we have seen that you care for your child, Pamela, in so many ways. You have seen to her financial needs, her need for Christian support, and helped her physically through so much. Please see her through this last treatment. I pray her spirits stay uplifted as she goes through this.

I've been remiss in posting---I have medical appointments of one type or another several times a week. Today, a friend took me to my County hospital for an Echocardiogram and labwork.
I will be starting Radiation treatments in about 3 weeks at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The place has an excellent reputation.
On 10-26-09, I resume treatments at my local County hospital of Herceptin infusions in their Chemo Department.
I begin physical therapy soon.
My Oncologist has ordered an MRI scan of my brain. I have had vertigo for months. There is a strong family history of brain tumors on the Irish side of my family---my Mom's side. One other doctor thinks it may be an inner ear situation. I'll find out for sure soon.
I started going to Ladie's Bible study on Tuesday morning at my church. We are doing the Beth Moore study on: "Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman." It's excellent!
Next month, I'll be working with my Editor on my book manuscript. My book is short stories and poems I've written. So that will be exciting.
My book will be released early next year. At this point, the title is "Boats On the Water" by Pamela Morrow Judge. My publisher is Tate Publishing in Oklahoma. Check them out at www.tatepublishing.com
I will have a website connected with my book as well.
Thank you all for your prayers, and kind responses to my posts.
I was shocked and rather dismayed to learn from my doctor's surgical report recently that my immediate prognosis is FAIR and my remote (long-term 5-10 year) prognosis is POOR.
The sooner I get home to Heaven, the better!

Thank you for the sweet spirit in this dear lady and for walking with her through all she has faced. Thank you for all you have done in her life. I pray you would continue to be with her, help her to know that man's prognosis means nothing, you alone decide when we will see you face to face. Lord, bless her day and help it to be a good one.
