Lord,
Thank you for the church. Lord, for all our problems and shortcomings, the church is still your vessel to reach the lost world, and I pray that you would help her to stand and continue on with what you have called her to do. You have said she will not fail, thank you Lord. In Jesus name, I pray, amen

Lord,
Help your church to be humble and rely on you. Father, I've been thinking this morning of the little church my old church home sponsored years ago and how they had us out to visit them and how they were embarassed and apologized to us that they had nothing but wicker baskets to take up the offering in, then I think of all the material things some churches have. Lord keep our eyes on you. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father,
I pray for those little churches that Cindy mentioned. Bless their wicker baskets, keep them in Your Will, and draw many to salvation through Jesus. Help each church, no matter what size, reflect Your love and grace to those who come through their doors. I pray that You would cleanse those churches that have strayed from Your Word and Your Purpose. Protect Your churches from the evil one and help them fill the spiritually hungry who come to them.

Father,
Thank you for the many members of the Body of Jesus Christ… Your Church. I ask that you help us all to realize that a church is something like a hospital where we go because we want to get well, not because we are well already. Please help each congregation to be a nurturing, caring, health giving organisms that generates love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray for our churches. Amen.

Lord,
I thank you for the church and what it is meant to be. I read today that 28% of unchurched believers leave the church because of hurt inflicted on them by others within the church. Please bring healing into our churches and to these people who have been hurt by others. Convict hearts about behavior towards one another in your house and in making things right when you have wronged a brother or sister. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Lord,
Help our churches to remain true to you, to follow what you would have them to do. Give us a vision Lord for your kingdom's work and bless our efforts. Lord, as for my church home, please help me to know about this church I've been visiting, if this is where you want us to be. It's almost overwhelming seeing all these ministries going on all around us. It's like I don't know how or where my daughter and I would fit in, are we one of the missing pieces of their puzzle that they have on their sign. Help us to know. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
